Reconnecting to the physical body for the mind’s wellbeing.
‘I am nurtured by the breath, hugs from children and music.
I love gardening and getting out into nature. I love water.
‘When we compare Australia to European countries, Australians are very limited in our repertoire of “touch” among friends and family.
I am very interested in the positive sensations and the therapeutic effects of touch.
‘I like to stay creative and use a mixture of techniques in a session. When the practitioner makes a connection with a patient a rhythm develops, and it can feel like working a piece of clay, sculpting it into a relaxed, rebalanced state. A place where you can feel renewed.
‘The dictionary defines touch as a close relation of communication. Touch helps a person remember their physical body and reconnect with it. It also supports the wellbeing of the mind and spirit.
Selina has been practising for four years and she offers wonderful sessions using holistic massage (deep tissue, relaxation, pregnancy, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, Shiatsu, hot stone balancing and singing bowls).
